YES!!! It's time for a lil journey through the mind!

Richmond, VA here i come!

I can't wait to go home after the next few weeks and finally see my new room in a new house - with a balcony!

The busy days are those days that i feel i am growing and learning, and being challenged in my capabilities, and sometimes in my faith. But it's all a growing and learning process that i must go through amongst all these challenges.

I've been stretched and bent, and made very flexible. But also am going through a process of solidifying what's inside of me - becoming stronger in my will, yet, still a lil soft in the heart for compassion. I'm still learning about what is it that i really want with emotion and passion! I will find it, and when i do i will do all that i can to attain it. Our God is an awesome and gracious God! His will shall become! and my destiny will be written in these pages of an hidden truth, waiting to be found; a purpose waiting to be fulfilled; and a life waiting to be changed!

It's about unity, it's about congruence, it's about Faith, it's about love, it's about life, it's not just about me, it's about you, it's about God!

Take Two

[it takes two!]

It's a challenge to find people with whom you can openly speak your heart out to about ur faith - about ur believes, and about ur love for God, and ur commitment to Christ. It's like a calling to be here. Praise the Lord definitely! for all that He has given and blessed me with.

God is the foundation of all things in life. Let's talk about it. It's His calling that brought me here. No Doubt!

Always Out and About

Back to school! Here we go!

This semester is going to be Jake's 2nd 4.0 gpa semester! I'm excited! I'm ready to get it on! This is also going to be Jake's year for being nominated and winning the "rookie of the year" award!

Silver Lining

[every cloud has a silver lining... so does every person]

To say that the sky is the limit, and then it's all above and beyond is to say that we are pretty much limitless in our own capabilities as human beings in terms of what we can think and what power our own thoughts can possess. To aim high above the skies is to dream above the ground which we walk in our own 'realities'. To actually fly towards those goals means to push through the clouds which stand in our way.

Now to say "every cloud has a silver lining" is to say that behind the dark depths of the cloud which blocks our way is the sun which stands shining behind. That silver lining is a line of hope that something better stands after the cloud passes. There's definitely something better after the struggle - it's all worth the push through. To say that is to say "The thunderstorm comes to destroy, yet after the storm comes the beauty of the sun and the rainbow - and growth"

To say every cloud has a silver lining is to also say that people do as well. To say that is to say that there is always a positive side to every situation, every circumstance, every truth, and every person. It's all a matter of perspective. I have a challenge im going through, but i don't see the cloud, i see the silver lining.  and it's bright.

august 13 is almost here! i'm really excited about this new change! Just imagine the new people i'm going to meet!
